The InitiativeBoardClub Kruševac started its activities on 19th of May, 2001, when was held the constitutional meeting attended with ten members and our mentor Predrag Đorđević the sponsor club RC Beograd. The first meetinigs were held in the restaurant "Royal" and from September, 2001 definitely was located in the hotel "FAM" every Tuesday at 8:00PM.
The ideas and principles of Rotary have been accepted with very good understanding. The Initiative board has worked at the same time on enlargement of members and carried out humanitarian activities.
The project between RC Lebanon prof.Dr Albert Alley and RC Beograd under the name "CAMPAIGN AGAINST BLINDNESS" was arranged in details but the final realization at the Ocular department of Health Care Center Kruševac did not take place due to known accidents in USA on 11thof September,2001. In August, 2001, four children from the Orphan center "Jefimija" spend summer holidays at the seaside at Clubs expense.
Initiative board presented talented pupils from Musical School "Stevan Hristić", Kruševac on 27th October, 2001 to the RC Belgrade.
On the 4th of November, 2001 District Assistants Governor John Tziflakos, Vojkan Mitić as well as Duško Milović and our mentor Predrag Đorđević visited Kruševac. The first visit of high Rotary officers was the opportunity to meet the members of the Club as well as to give instruction for next activities. The experienced Rotarians gave us helpful assistance and suport for future activities.
